Everybody knows how much fun it is to be able to play piano, but not many people know that piano playing does far more than entertain us and bring joy.
Recent research and studies have found that It offers proven physical, intellectual, social, and emotional benefits to people of all ages. Also, it boosts the cognitive and intellectual abilities of your brain and could be good for you in many ways.
After reading a lot of articles and reports I’ve been blown away by the number of recent experiments and studies that have been done by Glenn Schellenberg, Department of Psychology, University of Toronto, Canada, by Agnes S. Chan, Yim-Chi Ho, and Mei-Chun Cheung, Department of Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and many more.
According to the facts, there are countless benefits to playing piano, and to be able to list all of them is worth writing a book. At this point, I just want to be thoughtful of your time and will give you facts about the mental benefits of piano playing.
But before I jump into the details, let me say this,
Believe it or not, if you’ll learn piano or if you already taking piano lessons it can drastically enhance your abilities as:

In fact, children who continue their piano playing through their teenage years average about 100 points higher on the SAT. In 1994, research revealed, that undergraduates who majored in music had the highest acceptance rate into medical school, at 66%.
This is not just my opinion, here are proven facts!
There are many studies are yet the reason why music lessons should be supported in our schools and homes and people of all ages should learn how to play the piano or any other musical instruments.
Everyone can learn piano! It’s simple! If you can navigate a computer keyboard, then piano playing is easy in comparison since it has only 8 notes/key patterns that keep repeating themselves.
The piano basics are something everyone can do, regardless of age and talents.
